Shopify recently added support for Avalanche Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) via its blockchain app Venly. This exciting development means that Shopify merchants now have the ability to mint and list their NFTs through their storefronts using Venly.
Previously, Shopify users could only access Venly’s service on an invite-only basis, but now the app is open to all merchants. This means that customers will no longer have to refer to popular dedicated NFT marketplaces like OpenSea, Rarible, or Magic Eden to buy NFTs. Instead, shoppers can simply make fiat payments to purchase their NFTs, after which they will receive a link to a newly-created Avalanche wallet, which will hold the freshly-minted NFT.
